Step 1: Finish The Book I think it’s a great thing to reflect back on material that you read, you can spot things you didn’t fully notice before and this is especially true when you read other people’s reviews too. Guaranteed, once I have another look or another deep think about the book, I usually come out of it feeling pretty good and almost better than when I’ve just finished the novel. Sometimes a book makes me want to rant or gush about it and sometimes I need to actually go back and have another look.
Reviews for me are a great way to analyse what I’ve read and get an overlook at what I experienced and how that’s relevant or enjoyable to me. I’ve received many comments on my review writing style so today, we are bringing you a Book Review writing guide. Reviewing isn’t for everybody and isn’t for every book. Using the reviews they have compiled, students act out a book awards ceremony. Unputdownable?: Did you grab the book whenever you had a spare moment? Did you read it rather than playing computer games or watching TV? Or did you read the first chapter before letting it gather dust on your bookshelf? Setting: This is where and when the story takes place. Now add a few events in the middle of the time line - ones which link the beginning and final scenes. Write "Harry starts at Hogwarts" at the top and "Harry defeats Voldemort" at the bottom.
